RottaNova with prefabricated facade elements
In collaboration with INBO, I was instrumental in the architectural engineering of the RottaNova project in Rotterdam. Developed for NEOO, this dynamic residential complex seamlessly integrates 258 apartments with a commercial plinth, car parking, and bicycle facilities. Our architectural engineering approach ensured the unity of different housing typologies hidden behind a multifaceted facade. To expedite construction, we employed prefab elements for the facade, enhancing the transparency of the commercial plinth and using concrete with light yellow brickwork for the residential facades.
